Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser (DGSA) Training
EC Directive 96/35/EC requires that from the 1st January 2000 undertakings whose activities include the transport or related loading or unloading of dangerous goods by road, rail or inland waterway must appoint one or more safety advisor’s. DGSA Qualification is a vocational qualification, the training facility, course content & examination requirements come under the authority of the S.Q.A. (Scottish Qualifications Authority).
Oplas DGSA Training Solutions are as follows:
- One week (5-6 days) intensive courses to coincide with SQA examination dates.
- As an alternative to the intensive course you may wish to purchase our home study courses.
DGSA Refresher and Initial Courses
For students wishing to study gain the Initial qualification, further class or renew their existing DGSA qualification, are now offering a 5-6 day intensive course, each covering Core, Road and All classes.
Home Study Pack
Oplas Training Solutions also offers has produced a Home Study Pack covering the Core, Road and All Classes syllabus. The home study pack is supported with your own personal tutor who can be contacted to offer advice and help.
Examination Fees/Study Material
The examination will consist of the Core, Road and All Classes Modules. Examination fees are approximately:
- £300.00 for three exams on the same day
- £225.00 for two exams on the same day
- £115.00 for one exam
As the examination is open book, you will require certain publications. A list of study material will be supplied (books cost approximately £150.00).
