ALLMI Approved Lorry Loader Training.

Oplas Training Solutions can provide approved ALLMI (Association of Lorry Loader Manufacturer and Importers) Lorry Loader training. If your company operates within the construction industry then ALLMI certification can count towards your red card.

ALLMI certification is recognized by the CPCS (Construction Plant Competence Scheme) and as such ALLMI card holders need only pass the Construction Skills Health & Safety Touch Screen Test. the training is delivered “in company” using customer vehicles. We run both initial & refresher ALLMI approved courses.

2 Day Induction Course

Designed for drivers with little or no experience of operating lorry loaders. Course covers all the requirements of ALLMI approval. Operators must demonstrate competence and safety. An examination must be passed to be awarded a certificate.

  • Provision & Use of Work Equipment Regs 1998

  • Basic slinging
  • Assessments (theory and practical)

For drivers who poses a valid ALLMI lorry loader certificate. Course covers all the requirements of ALLMI approval. Operators must demonstrate competence and safety. An examination must be passed to be awarded a certificate.

Health & Safety:

The Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 requires drivers operating lorry loaders to be provided with instruction and training on the safe use of this equipment.
